Hi everyone,

I am quite new to Audi. I am thinking of getting an Audi A3 and I like it. The 2009 model seems to be coming this fall. Is there any major differences between the 2008 and the 2009 models?

To be honest with you if you have the time and are willing to wait. The front facia and lights have changed and are deffinatly worth waiting for. In my opinon.

 

Or get a great deal with a 2008.5 that has a timing chain, when they are dumping the 2008's[&:]

 

Only 2 reasons to wait, if you want either:

1. Quattro with 2.0T

2. Magnetic Ride suspension

The other changes are just minor and relatively meaningless appearance tweaks.

I will definitely check out the Quattro and Magnetic Ride suspension.

 

I believe the 09 also uses Haldex Gen 4 which is likely an improvement over the gen 1 haldex in pre 09 models.
