Default 2010 A3 Configurator is up!

Things are starting to get even pricier on the A3. Almost $38k for what I would want. That's dangerously close to BMW 335i range.

Engine: 2.0 TFSI® Premium Plus with six-speed S tronic® automatic transmission and quattro®
Exterior: Brilliant Black
Equipment:
Cold Weather Package $ 500
Convenience package $ 1,000
Titanium Sport Package $ 2,000
Open Sky sunroof $ 1,100
Rear side airbags $ 350
Premium rubber floor mats $ 120

I do like the new Alcantara option in the Titanium package cuz I hates leather!

Now I know why the Audi forums are so dead. People rarely respond. 54 views and not a single comment about the new model? Anyone planning on selling their old A3 for a new one?

It has been the review from the beginning…the A3 is a great value unless you get enticed into adding the over priced options.

I expect to keep my 2007 A3 for a few more years. There is nothing really that new or great (that I can afford) to make me want go in debt again.

starting price of the 2010 A3 is basically how much i got my 2006 A3 brand new for with rear airbags, open skyroof, and warranties for tires, etc. what makes a 2k+ difference to the new model besides tweaks in the engine and aesthetics?

Well the good news is that it looks like the A3 loses value faster than most cars...get one that's a year or two old for 50% off! $38k for one?! That's a lot for a car like that. There are a lot of options in that price range, the A3 wouldn't even be on my list.
