Hello Friends,
My wife just picked up a 2013 A3. THe only car we could find that was equiped with the options she wanted came from AZ which I guess does not require a front plate. We are in CO which does require a front license plate. So, it's now on me to find a plate mount.

Anybody know where to find the part?

I'd like to stay away from a FLAPS generic type plate mount.

I ended up finding one at Audi Wholesale Parts in Mission Viejo. If anyone needs the non-plate trim, i've got one.

Was the front license plate bracket difficult to mount? Did it require the removal of any other panels to get access or was it pretty easy?

It was very easy to mount, it just snaped into place. Although, it took a fair amount of pressure to get it to snap properly into place. Also the old one took a bit of pressure to remove.

There was a small conflict between new trim and other trim on the car that required me to make a small adjustment with a file as shown in the photo.

No other pieces required removal, just the non plate trim off, and the plate trim back on. And, after 500 miles it's still in place.
