Had a reading of 790kms of driving on my display the other day, thats 490 miles..

I was damn excited...highest I had ever seen it..

Highest I ever got was 440. Some of that was "mountain" twisties too....so it prolly could have been a little better. Getting 490 is friggin awesome. [sm=icon_rock.gif]


How much did it take for you to fill it back up? Mine took 14.7 (which is weird because I thought we had a 14.5 gallon tank)[sm=dontgetit.gif]

 

55 Litre Tank...once it took 56 litres of gas, dont know if that was gas station screwin me or i actually overfilled...

 

There was a thread in another subforum (OT maybe?) where someone posed the question of what happens when you reach zero miles left on the trip computer. It was determined that Audi leaves you a bit of 'reserve' when calculating the fuel capacity -- some claim as much as two gallons! I hit zero miles left one day a few weeks ago and the needle was on the second red line, I probably had at least another 30 miles worth of fuel left.

The most I've ever got on a tank of gas was 440 miles, but I still had a bit of gas left when I filled up. If I had pushed it, I could've gotten at least another 30-35 miles, and that is just what the trip computer said. For the record, I was running on 93 octane, doing 65-70 mph with cruise control on the interstate, windows up, AC on 'Auto' at 75 deg. F

I got 435 out of my last tank and I filled up about 20miles after the fill up light came on. 75% of the driving was stop and go throw Yellowstone. I was stooked on the MPG coming from Vegas

 

440 was the best I ever got, and I was really nervous. Isn't it bad for the fuel injector to be running nearly on empty like that?

 

I've never seen 400+ in my life. I guess that I'm a little too heavy on my right foot??? LOL
