A3 -02 1.6l Engine Problems w. Fault Codes
Hello.
To begin with, excuse my english. Not from english-speaking country.
Anyhow. I have problems with my Audi A3 from 2002 with the 1.6l engine.
When Im driving it it sometimes starts to die and jerk a little and loose speed.
When I give it gas nothing happens, not even changing gear. And suddenly it just dissapears.
I went to a garage that checked the fault codes. (Engine Light was on btw) I had three permanent:
17811/P1403/005123 - EGR System: Regulation Deviation
16514/P0130/000304 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B1 S1: Malfunction in Circuit
16556/P0172 - System Too Rich, Bank 1
The mechanic deleted all the faultcodes (engine light went away) and the only one that came back after that was:
16514/P0130/000304 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B1 S1: Malfunction in Circuit
They didnt know what to do so I now turn to the internet for answers.
One day after my visit to the garage the engine light switched on again so I guess there are some new faultcodes again. Maybe the EGR, I dont know.
So please. Any tip on what to do?
Best Regards
