How safe (risk of damaging car) is it to use launch control in my 04 3.2 V6 quattro?
Does anybody here know of anyone or yourself used launch control on a 3.2?
- how many times have you used it?
- have you experienced any problems?
- does it really make a significant difference?

I know launch control puts a lot of stress on the gearbox/drivetrain and regular use will inevitably break something, but how many times is too much and what is likely to break?

I'm going to the drag strip in the summer where I will be racing my mate in his mk5 Astra VXR. I plan on using launch control no more than 3 times and that's only if it makes a significant difference.
