So who was the A3 at Angeles Crest Sunday? I remember the license plate being "ASSLINE" I believe.

 

that would be me...I was wondering if it was someone from these forums. And the plate is A3SLINE. Everyone sees ASSLINE at first though. kinda funny.

 

haha very nice, do you drive through angeles crest a lot? There were an unusual amount of bike accidents that day.

 

First time through there actually. I was on my way back from willow springs. I took angeles crest because of the fires on the 14 hwy, and of course cause its just a hell of a lot more fun to go through!

 

were you just going through there for the drive?

 

Yea I thought I would take my car out for a little bit before watching transformers (which I didnt get to see because of the long line) and also to find some long exposure landscape shots. Went from 10W to 5N to 210E to angeles crest. Went up all the way to Mt. Wilson Observatory and the came back down. The view on top of Mt Wilson is nice.

from rowland heights/city of industry area. Right near the 60/57 freeways.What exhaust do you have? Sounded like an APR or AWE...Also guessing you are straight piped. Got a nice cloud of exhaust smoke when you blipped the exhaust so i know you changed your downpipe...i think. Wll you be at the GTG next week?

 

Its the APR DP + APR Sport catback.

However, I am considering switching out the catback to the stock one. Its been bugging me on the long drives as it is way too loud. All the girls seem to like the car being a little more quiet.

I'm 50/50 about the coming GTG, depends if i can meet the deadline on a project.

 

could always sell it and get a quieter exhaust. I have the Greddy and my only complaint is that its a little too quiet at times. But the sound is very good, doesnt drone on freeways, looks totally stock. Doesn't have that raspy sound that the APR has(especially the unresonated sport)
