Hiya guys,

I am looking at a 2l TFSI A3 with DSG, does anyone know if it has the launch control function like the MKV Golf GTI DSG?

If you are in the US, no. I have an A3 3.2 Quattro and no launch control. It is my understanding that the US models TCM( Tranny Control Modual) is different than the European version and they took the launch program out of our cars. If you're NOT in the US, I have no idea.

I am in the UK, so maybe it will have launch control over here.

 

My owners manual for my 2.0tdi s-line dsg(UK car) says that it's got it standard and I'm buggered if I can work how to use it. Something about switching esc 'off' and reving the car to 2800 rpm/??????


Have a look in the manual.I've put mine up the loft now and cann't be bothered to get it down now.

 

I have not got one yet, I am still deciding.
So no manual to check I am afraid
