Default A3 with Stealth Mode

I know this will sound pretty weird, but I think my A3 has some kind of stealth mode. I have passed three different "speed indicators" on three different days and in three different locations. Each time I go by one, the display just goes beserk and does not display a speed steadily. I watch other cars pass in front of the indicator ahead of me, and I know the machines are working, but as soon as I get close the things just freak out.

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

No. But I'm soon to be stealth to LIDAR when I install the laser jammer. Maybe you just have a magnetic personality??? Last time I passed one of those signs the radar detector was going off and the sign didn't show my speed, all it did was continually flash SLOW DOWN. LOL

Cheers!

Technically, California is one of those states. BUT, they sell and install them here, so??? I figured that I would just use it until slowed to the proper speed, then shut it off so they can get a good reading.

Maybe I'll be in need of a good lawyer??? Know of anyone???

Cheers!

Is your car black? I remember reading somewhere that lasers have trouble detecting the speed of black cars. Something about how black reflects the laser ...

Mine is lava grey, but you are correct. Lighter colors reflect the laser better, and unfortunately our CA license plates are very good at reflecting laser. I'm either going to remove the plate on the front, or use Veil on both plates.

Cheers!

Default RE: Good Traffic Attorney in SoCal

I was using a family law attorney in Manhattan Beach, CAand happened to meet an attorney in the same professional offices therewho specializes in traffic cases. I talked with him for like 1/2 hour and he seemed really professional and competent. If you ever have a SoCal traffic offense you need relief from, call him for a consultation.

His name is Joel Oiknine, Esq. As of 8/06, business address is: 1334 Parkview Ave., Manhattan Beach, CA 90266
