A3 for tall people

A3 for tall people
Hello ... I am new to the Audi Forum. Currently a MINI Cooper owner for over 2 years. Have no problem with the car, love it actually, but might be trading up to an A3 next year.
I like the stylings and bang for the buck of the car.
Question being, I am also 6'7" and have tried the A4 before and was surprised at the tight space for the driver. Believe it or not the Cooper has ridiculous space for tall drivers.
I would like some feedback from tall owners of the A3 on the driving comfort of the car, especially on longer drives.
Much thanks and Happy Holidays!!!

RE: A3 for tall people
well I'm not quite 6'7" but at 6'3" I can tell you that they redid the new audis this year. I say just go and sit in one, I can understand what you meen about the mini, I was blown away by how far back the seat went.

I'm 6'5" and I fit in it but you might want to watch your right knee, mine's on the borderline of being too uncomfortable.

This is where the Mini got my sale ... the center console being far more recessed ...
Will swing by the Audi dealer one of these days ...
Thanks for the feedbacks so far ...

RE: A3 for tall people
That screwed-up center console was the one and only reason for me not to buy the A3 (I'm 6'3"). I looked at other sporty VAG cars (Golf GTI, Jetta GLI, Audi TT) and they all suffer from the same design flaw. The New Beetle has plenty of leg room in the front seats, but the 2.5L engine currently available doesn't quite cut it. But then again, I'm afraid that if they ever release it with the 2.0T FSI engine, it will have the same wacky center console design. [:@]
