hello everyone, i wonder if someone could please help me. I have an A3 2.0 TDI Quattro (170bhp) and the majority of my driving is between my home and work which is 6 miles. my route consists of a cpl of miles doing 60mph dual carriage and then 40mph and 30mph with traffic lights on the way.

Ive just done a quick average mpg test coming home from work and its coming back at 31.2mpg. Does this sound about right. I usually use either Shell or BP fuel and out of a full tank of fuel im getting about 370 miles normal driving, I dont thrash it or anything.

 

I get between 36-38mpg on most tanks, doing about 500 miles before each fillup. I have a 2011 2.0 TDI (140hp), but about 3/4 of my commute could be considered highway driving.
