After Market Radio Install help needed.
I currently have an Audi A3 8P with a double din concert radio and OEM satellite tuner in the trunk. Here is what I am trying to accomplish.
Kenwood DNX 5180 Double Din Nav unit
C2R-audi Harness
Metra 99-9104 Bezel
I was told by Kenwood that I need a new satellite tuner. (SC-?) Is there a way to use my current OEM tuner in the trunk with a new after-market receiver? If not, can I at-least use the OEM sat antenna? I am trying to run the least amount of cable. Also, has anyone used this C2R plug and play harness? I do not have steering wheel controls, or ipod or bluetooth. Just a plain Audi Concert radio with Sirius.
I have seen articles about the RNS-E install but I am not sure how much of that I can use on a Kenwood Receiver.
Does anyone have a vehicle wire-harness guide that shows where all the wires run from front to back of car?
Thanks guys!
