Yes very interesting technical topic - zeroshift versus DSG, I see mentioned "it takes 30ms for each gearchange" if true then DSG is still much faster upshifting (8 ms) , but wonder about the two as far as downshifting? (see this link). In mid 2006 there was some rumor discussion about BMW AMT switching to DSG.
