Finished my Evoms CAI install and it turned out to be easier than I thought. Sounds great especially around 3000 RPMs or higher. Im in the process of putting my shoulders back in place after removing the engine cover. Question??? My car seemed to idle a little rough around 2000 RPMs. Has anyone came across the same? I still love it. My next step is the chip. I spoke to Justin at Evolution Motorsports he qouted me $550 for the chip and $50 for he stock program. He recomended the flash loader for $150.00. Is it really worth it for the Flash loader. Do any of you us it? Thx.

 

I think the apr flash goes for a little less, that also comes with stock mode.
Do your research local apr shops will discount their price compared that advertised on the apr website.

 

I've got the GIAC with flash loader. I haven't used the flash loader yet, but I will be when my next service comes around. I'll set it back to stock before I bring it in. I had a much better price quoted to me for the flash, stock program, and flash loader but I had prepaid for all the goodies much in advance. My dealer actually tried to talk me out of the flash loader, since their policy is that they would set it back to stock any time I wanted for no charge. I didn't want to be dependant upon them everytime I would need to set it back to stockor vice versa.
