Hi,
I have an Audi A3 1.6 2005, petrol, automatic with 100,000 mileage.
For the last month now when i turn the car on the car idles really low at around 600 rpm. It drives pretty much fine only sometimes there is a small judder if i accelerate too fast from a stop position. Sometimes i have driven the car to my destination and stopped then started again and it does idle at the normal rate around 900 rpm. There is also a delay when i put my foot down for the car speedo needle and it bounces from time to time. it doesn't really make much of a difference once the engine has heated up.
I think it is the throttle body which needs to be cleaned or the camshaft sensor but just wanted to ask whether anyone has experienced similar things?
