Hi All,

I have a problem on an Audi A3 TDI 2006 reg. The rear wiper won't work (turn), fuse is OK, any ideas? It squirts water OK and i can hear the motor working but won't move.

I have tried removing the cap off the rear wiper arm that covers the jet and cannot see what is the caused. I have seen on other same model and noticed the wiper when the car is stationary it is on the right hand side but mine is stuck on the left hand side. I have called the AA engineer out to look at this but they cannot fix it and said to take it to a dealer to troubleshoot it.

I have called the location audi dealer and it will cost £150+ to just trouble shoot the issue and plus expense for replacement Have anyone got any idea to a fix. It may be a motor issue but not sure.

Regards

Nick

Probably motor is dead. Buy new on and replace it yourself... easy to do it if you have little experience.

Hi Muszzy,

I have no idea what to buy to replace. Can you please advise? Is there a guide. I have searched the internet but cannot find anything. Thanks in advance.

Check on this site... You can maybe find it more cheaper price but this is the rear wiper motor.

Audi A3 FWD 2.0T > Search > Wiper > ES#264189 Wiper Motor - Rear - 8E9955711E

For the installation is not really complicate, just remove the trunck panel. Check on google some thread talk about that...
