Hartmann makes a 7 spoke anthrecite wheel absolutely to die for when placed on a lava grey, sportec has some nice models too.

Thanks for all the suggestions for Lava Grey. Did I say I had Lava Grey? I do, so this helps

I'd have to say I'm actually loving those Axis rim on yours stryker. I've been running options past the wife as well and she immediately took to those.

So I guess maybe I'm off the OEM path...

I'm thinking of picking up the Calera Rims below. They dropped the price down to $350 (for now), but now that I read this thread, I'm going to check out some of the other suggestions. Can anyone make sense of what is posted on the Audi site for the Calera Rims for size? It says they are 18 inch, but then suggests a 16" tire. Typo or is there something that I don't understand about tire sizes?

Calera's are 18, the 16 on the tires is a misprint. They suggest a 225/40 tire because anything bigger is likely to rub on an A3 with that 45 offset. FYI, Caleras are available in 17" on European sites.

Default A3 Calera 18" wheels

These wheels are priced down to $ 200.00 each. Per Audi USA, that's the price you should get from the local dealer. I have not found them cheaper than this.
