Audi Car Services
Dude, you do it NOW!
The 15000 mile service includes
-oil and filter
-replace pollen filter
-top off fluids
-set tire pressure
Probably reflash your car if you have it chipped, there is a compulsory ECU update.

The service inspections are not covered under warranty. The 2006 models came with 4 years of free service, thus, if you have a 2006 A3 you are covered. You can purchase the 4-year service package for about $500 during your first year. It's worth getting it, because the scheduled maintenance can be about $200-$300 each time. If you want to do the service yourself, be aware that you may lose warranty in some cases. Also, if you want to sell your A3 at some point, having it dealer maintained definitely is a plus.
The only problem of doing the service yourself is not being able to update the ECU if required and any recalls. Your warranty can not voided because you did not have the dealer do warranty work. Just keep the receipts for documentation. Of course a hard *** dealer can always make it difficult for you.
