I'm going to be sick to my stomach if the 2.0T gets a quattro option....either that or sick to my bank account.

I just went through the website and did not see it.
BTW - If I did see them offering quattro with the 2.0T 6MT - I would have a 2006 A3 2T w/ 6MT - with only 10K up for sale right now.

I am guessing that if they offered the Quattro on the 2.0T it would killthe 3.2 - thing that makes me 'mad' is that on the A4 it is basically a $2100 option.
I checked a few audi site in Europe and the quattro is not an option except for the S, but on Germany's website, I guess they do have that option on their 2.0TDI only. I do not speak German so it does make this exercise a little bit more difficult...
Ooops - I double checked and it is basically an option available to 2.0T in UK and France with different versions... sniff... at least the A3is cheaper to buy in the US than Europe...

Okay - now that y'all have gotten me really thinking about it. Does anyone know if you could get the A3 2T with 6MT in quattro as a European delivery?
I wonder if that would be possible. And no, I do not want an A4, sedan or Avant. I really like the A3 now. The Avant looks too much like a station wagon for my taste. 'Sides for that price - I could get a BMW 330IX wagon.

There is more info at: http://www.audiusa.com/audi/us/en2/e..._delivery.html
So I guess everything is possible - anybody used it before?
I was reading the related materials and apart from having to pay eveything upfront, it is pretty good. You do have to pay MSRP adn they give you a 3 to 5% discount on it (3% for A3).

that 'program' looks to me to be selling US spec cars, pickup in germany and tear up the autobahn, then ship it back. Pretty freaking sweet deal if you ask me, but i doubt audi usa would help you import a euro spec car.

falcompsx, you are right, it is US spec cars - importing a car from Europe on oyur own makes it a little bit more difficult. Once you are done, the S3 is probably a cheaper alternatives...

I doubt it. Unless US gets TDI too, and I doubt it not only because I got my 2007 A3 this week
