Beat on it / Break it. Dumb Dumb. Codes. DV?
My 06 A3 2.0 w/ GIAC, APR Turbo Back, Evo CAI, Upgrade fuel pump, etc..is down on power. 30,000 hard street miles in a little over a year. Plus track time.
Took it to my shop and they got following codes:
P0420 Cat ..efficiency below threshold
P0229 Turbo Boost Sensor (A) Circut, Value below lower limit
P3137 Intake Manifold Runner Control (IMRC) Bank 1, stuck open, sporadic
P0642 Sensor ref voltage "A", too low sporadic
They did a smoke and pressure test of the intake system and found no problems. Road test showed poor performance / power. They suspect problems with the overun cutoff valve (?)and problem w/ intake manifold.
On phone mymechanic said it's the DV.
Saw the thread on upgrade fromAudi B to C and / or ECS DV. Whats the APR R1? (I got rid of their program for the GIAC but...?)
Anyone have an idea? Try the ECS DV.
Dont want to go to the dealer and talk around all the mods or lie. just want to fix my baby.My fun A3has been getting me back and forth from Fairfield CT to Boston (about 175 miles each way) at least 3 times a week and DESERVES to be a little sick!
Thanks in advance for any help.
