Best rims?
I have an A3 sportback (2008), and Its got some nice rims (17") but I'm looking to make an upgrade to 18" rims. Any suggestions of which rims would look best on the a3? I specially like the rims most of the new S3s have. Whats the best brand of rims (quality wise, performance, etc)?
I was thinking of going either with Audi rims or BBS.. what do you guys think?

Yeah I've seen some A3s with BBS and they look sweet
I also found this pic of an A3 with the S3 rims http://i18.tinypic.com/4xqoj0w.jpg, they look cool too.

I'm a big fan of MTM's titan rim: http://www.mtm-online.de/en/index.ph...3&subnav=5
Would look awesome if you have lava grey. Abis white would look good with them also. Those S3 rims though are hawt!

Those S3 wheels are nice! Do you know how much they weight by any chance? One of the main things I am looking for in aftermarket wheel is less weight than stock. Every pound you drop from the wheel is equivalent to dropping 4 pounds from any other part of the car.

AGREED! thought i was the only one looking for lightweight rims. i wanna get at least 19lbs if i can. so that means likely BBS or maybe select O.Z.
when it comes time, i have a few rim selections in mind, but i will definetly be calling manufactures to find out wheel weight. I threw on 18x8.5's on my mb when i had it, with falken fk452 [235/40] i was at 26.2per tire and AT LEAST 23-25lbs per wheel. steering felt like i was steering a train. oiy. looked dope, but i want a nice compromise of style and weight now, esp with FWD
