Default Best Tires for $120/150?

After a long contemplation of whether to get new wheels or not-I have decided nay. So...this brings me to my next decision of what tires to put on my stock 17" 16 spoke wheels. Does anyone have any suggestions for my price range? I'm looking for performance-and I live in Florida so snow is not a factor. I can't wait to get rid of these P6's.

Thanks in advance.

I went through the same process and decided to keep my stock 17" wheels and get high performance tires. BTW, you made the correct choice for the smoothest ride. It was between the GY F1's and Toyo T1-R's. I got the Toyos for $125 each, mounted & balanced. I absolutely love this tire and it way outperforms the PZero Rosso's.

Cheers!

I have a little while until I have to put tires on my A3, but on my last car I REALLY liked the Bridgestone RE960 Pole Positions I put on it.Dry traction was pretty darn good, but the wet traction was absolutely amazing. Tire rack has them at $133 each.

Have any of you guys had experience with the Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD 3? These are the tires I am looking at.

That was my first choice for replacement tires, but I got a much better deal on the Toyos. I don't think you'd go wrong with that choice. It'll beat the **** out of those Psucks.

Cheers!
