The blower for my 2006 A3 2.0 failed today and I'm looking for a little advice please. I don't see much online in the way of free engine diagrams and repair instructions. Could someone please help me locate the blower motor on a 2.0T and give a couple of suggestions on how to diagnose/troubleshoot or replace if necessary? Thanks in advance from a newbie.

Depending on what side of the pond you are on. Us models are going to be on the passenger side under the dash.

 

I'm in the US but I believe mine is a Canadian model based on the check engine light.

 

wasn't there a campaign for this? the AC problems in 2006 is a known issue --- can't get this under warranty?
