Since I have introduced the Parrot Solutions steerring wheel integration to the Audi forums, I have fielded many questions and recieved some orders for the product, However it has been spread out all over the forum thus making it hard to answer everyone's questions. So what I'm going to do is startthis thread to field questions and get answers for you guys. Also this will be a thread where you yourselves can talk about your experiences with install or actually using the integration. I hope this can be athread that will be very helpful for all of you in regards to this product. This thread will strictly be for A3 Usersonly. i'm interested in these things. are there installation instructions anywhere? any soldering involved or is it just basically plugging things in?

 

does your A3 have nav? I can send you installation instructions, but for the most part it is plug and play with no cutting or soldering

i have no nav., just the bose. does the mic mount separately or go in the light module thing?

 

you will mount the mic separately, most people choose to mount the mic right above the rear view mirror, but people also get creative and mount them in other places. My reccomendation is the rearview mirror
