which CAI
ok guys my 18th bday is comin up on the 15th and i plan on gettin a CAI.. I really dont know what kinds of CAI are out there. I know of the EVOMS intake because of A3Night and read his review.. I have my eyes set on that right now because it sounds like its great from his review. I would like suggestions on which ones you guys like better and why. And please dont turn this into a "this CAI rules and that one sucks" post. Thanks alot..

Nuespeed, Evom.Carbonio, start with that they'll all give you about the same performance some less loud then others.
Plastic tubing vs metal tubing some require you to take the engine cover off some dont, maybe you want the cover off so you can put a nice carbon cover mod on.
I got a question for you, how do you like your Escort radar detector, I've read extensively about radars and this one seems to top the charts each time .

idc about the noise..id prefer it to be kinda loud cuz im a kid and want that turbo sound lol.. and i also dont care about the cover cuz i prolly wont be opening the hood up that much..the escort radar is great (even though i got pulled over twice with it, once by laser and once because the cop was a smart *** and crept up behind me without using his radar) but it has saved me countless amounts of times. If it wasnt for Escort my lisence would already be suspended.. even though i already have a 4pt speeding ticket

I'm the prototype for the K&N and they said it should be out at the end of October. If you want it, then you'd have to wait. Seems like the EVOMS is the way to go if you want one NOW.

I have the Carbonio in my A4......when I saw Richard's (A3night) EvoMS Intake, it made me wish they had made one for the A4's as well.
It looks like Art under the hood and sounds like Death on the streets.
If I had a brand new A3, I'd chip it and throw the EvoMS CAI in the car immediately before any other mods.
VERY nice piece of hardware, IMHO.
