I had my 15000 mi. service and the only thing extra on the invoice was this I3 reflash. From what I had read on these forums, I thought my DV was blown as my car had never held boost, at least not since I installed my awe gauge. But leaving the dealer I thought they "chipped" it ! Does anyone know what this I3 is or has anyone had the same result?

 

I3 is just the dealer's most current software upgrade for your ECU. I'm not sure why you're boosting better after the reflash? You're the first I've heard that had any noticeable performance increase after the reflash. The only thing I've heard that it helps was the cold start problem. Maybe you had another problem that was solved either with the reflash or some other adjustment?

I checked some other forums and just a few people thought they noticed some improvement, I am talking major change. I think they must have changed the DV and not told me about it.
