I bought the Mr. Clean last weekend, and it does work pretty well for a "quick" car wash. But it doesn't soap up enough for me, especially when cleaning the rims. It isgood for a 20 min wash before going out for the night though. Does not leave spots at all.

Havent washed her this winter yet.

But today was my 1st 5000k service at the dealer. Dropped her off this morning. They said they will do a wash since the temp here is about 40 today.

I am wondering how the service dept at the dealership will wash my A3. Will they use Palmolive or Dawn dish detergent? I wonder.

Funny that you say that...when I bought mine and they were detailing it for me, I was surpirsed (and impressed) to see that not only were there three guys handwaxing but they were actually cleaning the wax from the crevices with a toothbrush. I am used to them doing cheap spray and wipe wax.

(Istill came home and didthe three stage anyway...)

Ahhh I see, you had just bought your A3, that explains the guys waxing/detailing. But I dont think they do that when you bring it in for service, just a regular wash. When I picked my A3 up from service yesterday, it was definetly much cleaner, they did an OK wash I would have to say. Considering all the salt on the roads here in NJ, it's now all washed away from my A3. So, its better then nothing.

Cant wait to do my spring time wash and wax though!
