So my friend created this clever way to black your stock grill out. We bought the tape from Pepboys for 10$ and it took about 20 minutes or less to tape the chrome rim around the grill. He didn't take the rim off the grill it was done while it was on. The filter plate was spraypainted black and looks weird only because of the glare. Nothing was done to the actual grill part but it looks like its really a black grill because the black outer rim and filter plate.

He also did the eyelids with the tape which came out pretty good
