the left/right indicator on the dash in my daughters 2010 a3 doesnt work, left indicator flashes ok but the right one doesnt. i dont think this would be a MOT failure would it?

 

Don't have MOT here but if you do, I would think a turn signal not operating would be a fail.
From my experience with my A3, the non working exterior turn signal could be responsible for the dash indicator not working. The dash indicator is possibly a symptom of the other problem.
