Hi Guys (and girls).
I have recently purchased a 2002 (02) A3 Tdi SE Auto five door. I bought it from an auction and the gearknob and all surrounding parts were missing. I assumed these parts would not be that difficult to track down but so far I have come up against a brick wall at every turn, except of course at the Audi main dealers where they want to charge me nearly £600 for the parts, considering I only paid £800 for the car this would seem like the wrong way to resolve the issue. I have tried search engines for used car parts but again have failed every time.
Is there anyone out there in Audi land who can help me resolve this please, whether it be to find the correct parts or how to change what I have in t a more usable system.
