Sorry guys, I got a PM that the pics were broken... they're fixed now. Also, if you have questions about the install, its best to PM me. I probably visit the forums once a month now [:-]

Good evening all,

Ok, I am confused, did not all 2006 A3 2.0s come with the trip computer functions AND low washer fluid warning icon? (Read: low washer fluid tripped the icon...thought car was overheating :-) )

Took delivery of an '07 A3 several months ago and the only thing I miss from my TT and A6 is the distance to empty function of the trip computer. If this is all you want to activate do you have to install the terminal wire to turn off the washer fluid icon. In Section 3, Item 13 you say to reverse the procedure in section 2 if you only want the DTE function. What then happens to the washer fluid icon?

Regards,
JGersh

on 06 models, the trip computer was only available if you had the convenience, premium, nav package. dsg models without any of these packages just had the gear selected displayed. 6mt models had light up icons in the center with no display.
