I'm not sure if I understand your setup. Is the BOV installed now? Is it a normal BOV (straight atmosperic), or is it a partial recirculating kit? Is the stock DV still installed?

If you have the forge bov, you can just install your dv inside of it and use the longer screws that it came with, open the valve all the way that's the only way you'll hear it the other two settings are to low involume. Our bov is all the way in the bottom of the engineso it is hard to hear it.

The instructions it comes with are spot on good luck[8D]

Hope we are talking about the same thing here. I have a bov that i bought from forge it comes with longer screws and your stock dv fits inside of that the whole unit fits like the oem dv.
I dont see what you find so hard to understand, this is also a adjustable bov 3 settings?????

There are only two to three types for the A3 2.O turbo Forge makes two and apr came out with one couple of mos ago fyi the newer version dont utilize the stock dv so there is no chance of any gasket or seals cracking.

The original poster has a 1.8T. So the 007 would be the way to go for a fully recirc DV, the 004 would be the way to go for a fully atmo BOV, and the SpltR would be the way to go for a hybrid valve.

It being a 99, I don't think that there is a MAP sensor, so I would recommend either the 007 or the SpltR.

Stryker is talking about our 2.0T parts... very different setup than what is on the 1.8s....

Could someone confirm wether or not The Audi A3 1.8T 1999 MAP sensor and whether it is located before or after the turbo?
