Engine or DSG went out?
Nada, my car is still at the dealer. I left a message for the service advisor responsible for my car on Monday and he still hasn't called me back. I will try calling him again tomorrow, but this is kind of getting irritating.
Oh, btw, this is Penske Audi.

I talked with Cesar from Penske today and he said itsthe problemcut off valve and the low fuel sensor that were caused by bad wiring from the aftermarket parts. I tried to ask him which aftermarket parts, but he's not sure. I'm looking at a cost of 531 and the low fuel sensor is on back order.
What isa cut off valve by the way?

I ran my tank empty before. I really doubt it'll shutoff the car as a fail safe. Just imagine if the car shuts downprematurely because it wants to save the last few drops and as a result forces you into an accident. I call BS on that one.
never heard of a low fuel sensor ( its either got fuel or it hasnt ), thrust sensor now that is also a new one to me unless its something on the newer cars,
what im thinking is the immobliser is having a head acke or the 2007 cars have been fitted with a fuel inertia cut off switch which shuts the pump off when an electrical fault or accident happens,
imobiliser or inertia switch and faulty crank/cam sensor would cause you problem ( can you hear the fuel pump cycle when you switch the ignition on? ) this is the first step to diagnosing the fault then its fault codes
