Evoms intake issue?!?!?
Hey, I was about to buy a used Evom intake, but then i heard on you tube that Evoms stopped making their intake for the 2.0T because of warping issue??
They cancelled all the orders they had and started developing a second generation intake because of the warping issue, because there were a lot of complains about overheating and warping...
Anybody knows about this??

The hell with tommorow this peaked my interest.
A rubber hose connects the turbo to the main plastic tube and filter.
That is the piece in question that has since been replaced. That was probably plastic and warped under the extreme heat. Surprised that the nuespeed doesn't have the same problem i think they have a one piece plastic tube, maybe better grade.
I think chef has nuespeed he'll chime in to shed some light on the construction of the nuespeed.
