Neither; SARIS is the way to go. Have owned both Thule and Yakima before and by far SARIS is the easiest roof rack to install and un-install. If you intend to leave the rack installed all the time go for Yakima ( keeps fellow Washingtonians in business), however if you intend to install only whengoing to have fun then buySARIS. The darn thing takes at most two or three minutes to install. Have both bike and ski attachments and both are quite functional.

what model of Saris rack are you talking about? I did not know that they made a roof rack, I thought they only had hatch/trunk and hitch mount racks.
