Default track strip

I'm goin out to a drag strip later with the A3. Its only an 1/8th mile track but I'll post the times up and scan the slip.
Oct. 29th I'll be goin to the FixxFest in bradenton and run her on the 1/4 mile.

Only performance mod is the APR Stage I and the Carbonio Intake.

You can't order an 06 at this point; 07 order specs are at the dealers now, and can be submitted. I just ordered one and had it confirmed. Option packages have changed slightly, and a few colors have been added or deleted.
The Ibis white is allegedly more muted than the 06 Arctic white, but I've yet to see a sample. I also don't know about the Premium leather, but it is supposedly available in a darker gray than last year.
91 octane is recommended for the car to make specified power, so according to theory you're OK using it it unless you've had a ECU remap for 94 octane. Hopefully things are no different in Canada.

I got my 06 A3 from Audi of Mississauga, in April and I'm more than happy with it. As for the rates, the financing rate was 3.9% for the 06 models. I believe the interest rate for leasing was in the 7% neighbourhood. One other thing I'd like to point out is, if you plan on modding the car, the 2.0T is a better choice. I know it lacks Quattro, but you can do more to the engine.

That really sucks dude. But since you're in Toronto (or anywhere in Canada, for that matter), there's one plus: With the new tax cut ( 1% off the GST ) you'll be doing some savings... of about 500$, but when you consider the added interest rate you'll be paying about 2000 extra on a 60 month finance!

Get an A3!

I wouldn't wait for the 2007 if you can find what you're looking for in dealer stock. The 4 year/50k mile warranty is definitely worth hunting for a 2006. You get leather with either the premium or sport package and the seats are much better on the sport package than stock. The Open Sky roof is a must in my book, probably one of the coolest features on the car. I also like the aluminum accents and suspension on the sport package. I just wish you could get power seats, and convenience items as well, which would be a reason to hold out a year. I like the idea of the Quattro but it's not worth trading in the 2.0T for the 3.2 and paying $8k more. Just get the 2.0T and chip it. You'll have more power than you need.

Cheers!

I don't think the NAVI option is really necessary in a car this size and class unless you have a lot of money to spare. But that's just my opinion. Others may think different.
