Hatch rattle help
Hi Guys,
This weekend I had a case of wine in my trunk, lifted the gate and the carboard held on to the cargo cover. As I pulled up on the hatch, it pulled the stings that connect to the pegs mounted on the hatch (that lift the cover with the ***** on the end) and I heard a "snap". I broke off one of the pegs that hold the string (and a very perfect hole is now there) and now I have this rattle from the boot when I go over bumps.
First off, is this peg an easy dealer part (or do I have to order the entire rear end of the car to get it?) and how do I easily remove the lining of the trunk lid to get the rattling piece of plastic out....or is this a very complicated-let the dealer do it- proceedure?
