I'm new to this forum. Traded in my S2000 for the A3.

I bought it used. It has the premium package on it. Does the premium package come with Xenons? B/c I have xenons and also sports suspension on it.
I also have the 17" cast alloy rims and the open sky system. So i'm thinking this A3 has the premium package (shift paddles on steering wheel, fog lights, leather seats, radio controls on steering wheel), plus the technology package (xenons, auto dimming mirror), plus sports suspension.

So far so good. I plan on getting tint, V1, and maybe a chip. Eventually I will get 18s or 19s also.

you either have premium package, or the sports package. Doesn't come with both....

 

Your car doesn't have sport suspension unless it was added after. Premium wheels are single color aluminum, sports are bi-color. Another way to tell a premium from sport is that premium cars have a thin aluminum trim ring on the vents, sports have full aluminum rings. Also, sports don't have power seats. Many other ways to tell the difference. Premium didn't come with xenons, but you could add them to either package.

Welcome. Sounds like it was a good vehicle change for you. The S2000 is a very cool car and I think you'll probably enjoy the enhanced utility of an A3 even more.

Just wanted it? Or, did you have kids coming and the significant other wanting more seats?
Admirable choice though.

 

I had my S2000 for 6 years, so it was time for a change. The S2000 was fun but definitely not a daily driver. I needed something roomier and something different from Honda, since my past 4 cars have been Hondas.

I have driving an A4, A6. and TT on several occasions and love the way it drove and also the interior of the Audi's. I really am enjoying the paddle shifters. All my previous cars have been manuals so it's nice to be able to drive an auto at times and also shift when i'm in the mood.

 

I'm guessing you have the DSG S-line!

BTW, it's kinda funny that Quan just replaced his S2000 with an A3 while A3Night replaced his A3 with an S2000

Funny how a former A3 owner switched to the S2000 and now just the opposite - check out his thread "Its offical... I'm a traitor" from A3Night. I am certain he would love to hear your feedback.
I myself made the move to Audi just recently from an MR2, Honda did not wantto deal and Toyota did. I fully understand where you come from.
