Default Help with battery drain please

I have started having problems with my 1998 A3 - after left unused for 3 or 4 days the battery is dead.
checking the battery drain I read 300mA - by pulling fuses I have traced the problemto fuse 15 - instrument cluster.
is this a normal standby current for this circuit - it seems somewhat high ?

I have the exact same problem. Did you find a solution?

sorry no, I still have the problem - even the Audi dealer can't fix this one - they just want to replace the dashboard - seems excessive and they wont guarantee it will fix the problem [:@]

Ok, I'll have to dig deeper then...

Since the fuse is for the instrument cluster I am thinking that it might be related to another problem I have. My fuel gauge is extremely slow, when I fill up the car from empty it takes something like 30 minutes for the gauge to read full. Also I have a problem with the temp gauge, it usually shows the correct temp but sometimes it drops to nothing, sometimes it drops to 70 C, but only for a minute or so. Seems like somethings wrong there....

Do you recognize any of those problems?

(If I find anything I'll tell you)
