Default Help Guys !

Hi -I have just bought an Audi A3 2.0ltr TDi 170 BHP -S LINE - 2006 AND 124K MILES, from a local car " dealer " .
Having never driven a diesel before ( my previous car was a Skoda Octavia VRS petrol ) -I am struggling to like it !!
My journey to work is to and from town in 30 mph limits mostly ... the ride is so hard my fillings are dropping out ! - but guess thats my fault for buying an S Line.
The thing I hate and wonder if a characteristic of the diesel engine is lumpy / pulling back momentarily especially in the lower gears at low speeds . I thought perhaps this might be something that happened til the engine temperature reached optimum - but it does occur when hot from time to time as well .
It has been to specialist who put it on diagnostic , and nothing showed as fault. He also cleaned the injectors.
Is this typical of this engine and something I have to live with ? or has the specialist missed something ?
I have only had it 5 weeks and now hate driving it ... to the extent I am thinking of selling and buying a petrol Golf GTi !
Once on the motorway it flies sadly and mid range acceleration spellbinding.

I would really appreciate any advice on what to do next ..

Many Thanks

David

With "Lumpy" I suspect you mean it is lacking power?
I wish I could help you but I'm a Diesel noob. I own the 2.0t, also s-line and I'm loving it. The first few days though were challenging because the suspension is really stiff compared to driving my old comfortable a6 prestige lady :P
I hope someone else can chime in and give some advise.
