Hi everyone, I have been looking for anyone who might shed some light on my question.

Does anyone know or have heard of HID conversion kits affecting the wiper motor after install? I recently installed the kit and noticed that my wiper motor didnt work after a few days.

Yes i have installedd a new wiper motor, i really do like the HID lights but now im afraid of putting them back on , any info on this would be great and thanx

 

this is a known issue with aftermarket HID kits. I heard that it's sometimes preventable by not turning on the wiper until after the HIDs have warmed up. do a search on the forum --- some people have had luck with the "well-done" hid kits, but i wouldn't want to risk it --- the wiper motor is an expensive repair for what it is

 

No way! Are you serious?! That's so random, I was just about to do HID's too. Anyone know why this happens exactly?
