So i recently bought a metallic grey 2005 honda s2000 GT with hard top. It's stock, except i have added a K&N performance induction kit.
I came up against a brand new '11 plate pearl white Audi A3. It looked like the sport back and was definately a petrol engine, although I am not sure what size, perhaps a 1.6 or 1.8.
So the guy inside the Audi kept revving his engine, as he probably wanted to go infront of me as it was a single lane ahead. The lights turn green, and we were off.
I only revved to around 5k changing gears, without hitting VTEC and to my suprise I actually was pulling ahead of him. He was definately accelerating as hard as he could from his engine sound.
So my question is, I normally rev to around 4-5k (the limit for s2000's is 9k and VTEC hits around 6k) is this equivalent to a standard cars (1.4-1.8 litre engine capacity) max acceleration?
