I HAVE A RELI BIG DESICION TO MAKE
Hi Oliver-
Two-door cars look cool and they're fine if one never has to carry anything. Even if it's a matter of throwing a gym bag or briefcase on the backseat, the convenience of a four-door car (especially with hatchback) becomes very apparent. If one goes out with friends, it is hands-down in favor of the four-door. Oddly enough, two-doors probably works best for very youthful drivers and then again years further down the road when those same folks are in their seventies and not dashing to business meetings with marketing material tossed in the back!

Hi Blue Jays,
You are right and believe you me, I lived the last 4 years with a 2seater convertible with no trunk space. It was for 5 months the only car for my wife and I. We basically had to go to the supermarket every day… I could not even have someone else and my computer bag in the same car - and except for my wife or my boss, the computer bags wins. The problem is that when some clients came and I had to pick them up at the airport... “Sure, I can pick you up but not your luggage...†Good times tough. Once I borrowed my boss' Mini Cooper Works (which is very small inside too, that is the reason I did not choose it either) while he was away to pick up a client and the battery died... From that day,I learned to be more independent. I almost got the 2door GTI but decided I am not in my 20's anymore (or 70s…) so it was time to take the plunge and be a little more responsible.
Audiismypassion, …, vwismypassion or gtiismypassion .. do enjoy your car, it is a good car.

lol - sounds good - if you have not done so go to VW's website,I spent a lot of time customizing the ride - I love the videos - http://www.vw.com/vwfeatures/gti/en/us/- they used to have a separate website for it but could not locate it. They changed some of the parameters because going to the 18" used to shave .1 sec from the 0-60 and now the DSG is .1 seconds faster but I could swear it was more... My memory is failing me. Anyway, still a great site.
