Default Labor For Suspension Mods

I just ordered eibach/koni kit, hopefully to be installed this weekend. Im looking around now for a shop to do the work.

Those who have done this...what have you paid for install labor?

I had mine done by a very good shop in Signal Hill, CA for $260. It included everything needed to install my C/O's and alignment after a few weeks.

Cheers!

Guys,

Thanks a lot for the info. Much appreciated.

Lavadrifter...this is all your fault. You posting those new pics around tax time. Like leaving a fat guy in an unguarded candy store; just couldnt help myself.

The shop where I bought my KW3s charged $2100US for the coilovers and installation and alignment. So based on a quick scan of web prices, it looks like I paid about $150 for the install. Damn, those things are expensive when I convert them into US dollars! hahahah

BUT....so so so worth it...wow!

So they have arrived and im drooling over these golden beauties.

I like the instructions that come with the kit (cave-man style...no words). The 'unspoken' message; "don't even think about it...leave it to the pros".

hehe

funny thing about coilovers is that once they are installed they become an invisible investment, aside from the drop and the performance.

That sounds really high. Sounds like he's making up the Tire Rack discount in his labor. I would look around a bit.
