I'm interested in Liquid Blue Metallic color but this is a very rare color (also extra $$.)
Does anyone have this color?

When we were discussing what color to buy for A3's only two colors nobody seem to order...liquid blue metallic and dakar beige metallic. If you had ordered the A3 from factory with liquid blue metallic it would have cost you $750 extra only.

 

Yes, but Liquid blue and Dakar are discontinued for '08 - only available as $2500 special order. If you really want one, have your dealer search inventories. They're hard to find, but I'll bet that there are a small number of each for sale around the country.

If you go to the audi webiste and build your A3 (notice the website says "The 2008 Audi A3"), the liquid blue metallic is one of the choices.

 

The site hasn't been fully updated. Check your dealer- their '08 bulletin states that these colors are no longer available on an A3 except for $2500 special order. I read it myself a few weeks ago.

I'm bummed. I really wantedthe color and was thinking about purchasing 08 model.

 

Just got back from the stealership for routine service and there was a shiny new liquid blue sitting on the lot. distinctive looking - yes. sporty - IMO, no.

 

There's your opportunity Little, you can have that liquid blue shipped to your local dealer!
