Default Looking for XM Tuner 8E0 035 593 G

Can anybody point me in a good direction, besides a dealer, to get XM tuner 8E0 035 593 G? Dealers are charging $500 and discount places around $425. None are on E-bay.

Also, does anybody have first-hand knowledge of using another part number XM tuner on a non-Bose system in the A3?

I doubt you'll find a G model - what is different about your A3? is it Nav or TPMS?
I have an '07 with standard stereo, no Nav, Bose, or TPMS. I bought a 593A from Rosen last year, and it works great. Here's one on Ebay now.

I'll double check my number, cause it's been a while - that's the one I remember, though.

According to Don Rosen, the xm tuner that they're selling will only work in earlier models of the 07 year.Apparently around mid production year Audi changed the antenna to a Sirius only set up.
The build date on my A3 is 10/06 - probably on the cusp of the change.

Hesaputz, what is the builddate of your A3?

Cheers

Mines an early '07 model - delivered July 10 of 06. I hadn't heard about this issue with a sirius only antenna before, but there have been a few postings about how some cars only have 1 antenna wire (mine has 2), and one or two guys have had antenna malfunction displays.

My build date is 9/06 and it has the one-wire antenna. The XM module should still work fine if you have the one wire antenna, you will just need an adapter to mate it to the two prong input on the tuner.

Yup, I can confirm this. I got the XM module for my car, had a single wire plugged in but got the Antenna error (though it still worked), so I ordered the TERK input and things work great now.

Update, part 8E0 057 593 A listed in the E-bay ad worked! I called three different dealers and was told I needed the G tuner but I took a chance and it worked. Go figure.

I have an '06. I called Audi USA and they confirmed that the car was pre-wired for satellite. I didn't need any special adaptors and installation was a breeze.
