I am looking for a recommended place to have my windows tinted, want a really nice high end job. I am in Silverlake area, so perhaps Glendale, Pasadena might have
someone good? Any suggestions? Who and where has got their windows tinted in LA?

California Tint must be a franchise. My guess is just a lack of originality.

Sure it's a ghetto shop ( Boyle Heights) but the techniques, materials and results are the same as if it were high end.

There is a motto which states, 'you get what you pay for'.

There is another that says ' a fool and his money are soon parted'

Pay what you want, but whatever you do, get a warrantee in writing.

Did good work, while I waited, about an hour or so.1 year guarantee, so if there are any issues, just bring it back.

 

Hey guys - just got back into town and found that info. Sunshield glass tinting in Sherman Oaks. They do all the dealer tinting for Keys Audi. I'm taking mine there - just haven't done it yet. I was quoted $160 w/ lifetime warranty (in writing)

While i dont know of any good tint shops in Cali (I live invirginia) I would definitely pay the extra and make sure you get a lifetime warranty
