I have an 06 2.0T Premium and it has a low washer fluid level indicator as part of the trip computer/driver information system. It's definitely not a warning light.

First post, so I'd like to thank all of you for all the valuable info I've gathered while lurking.

Welcome and thanks!

I figured that it was part of the computer info system that I didn't have.[:'(] Oh well, I guess that I get the old fashion method of finding out when it stops squirting.

Cheers!

What year and model???

I'd bet my performance mods that it isn't a 2006 2.0T.

Cheers!
Don't know about 2006 models...anyone? When you start your 2006 A3 you should light up all your error lights chef, if its there is one it looks like a windshield with water spraying in the center.

For sure its part of the 2007 fault indicators. In 2007 manual it is referenced on page 54, 55 as "Windshield washer fluid level too-low and page 300 has service advice.
It is a 2006 2.0T DSG. PM me and I can give you the address for shipping the mods.

Does your 2.0T DSG have an error light? Technically you are correct in stating that the car warns your on the computer that the fluid is low, but there isn't an error light/lamp. We had a good discussion on this and I admitted that it might state that on the computer, which I don't have. Maybe I should have clarified an A3 set-up like mine. However, I would be happy to ship you my performance mods. The first one I'm done with is my Eurocode DV. Just let me know how you'd like to take care of the shipping and it's yours. PM me.

Cheers!

Thanks again for all the info , after this discussion I'm going to assume that I don't have the warning light and since I also don't have the computer display I guess I won't have a warning at all , that's not a major problem , I just wanted to know if the information that my dealer gave me was correct and it seems that it was.

2006 Audi A3 2.0Tsportback with sportpackage.
