Default mp3 card help

Anyone know how to get the mp3 card reader to read more than 200mb? This is silly, I have 2 4 gig cards yet I can only listen to the same amount of music my old crappy cell phone can hold.

I popped the 1GB SD card out of my phone and put 900 or so megs of music on it with no problems. I don't know if 2GB cards would work, but I'll pick some up at some point. Probably sooner rather than later since it works so well.No need fora changer or the lame IPod integration when this works so well.

I'm guessing this is on newer cars I have no idea what you're talking about!

2 sd card slots behind the nav for mp3's.
Works much better than the oem ipod integration.

I have Sandisk 2GB Ultra II cards and they work fine. Loaded with MP3s to the max, and they are all accessable.

I just bought an 8 gig sd card off of ebay, it's definately a fake from Hong Kong. regardless I put about 1.3 gigs of music on and i put it in the first card reader but all it did was say loading/reading the card for 5-8 mins before i lost patience is that normal or is it because i bought a cheap knock off sd card thats why its not working?

A friend's Honda won't read very large files, which he only found out when he put a book on a SD card. Is that the problem?

Yeah the dual SD card slots are one of the most legit features about the Audi's... I had no idea it was going to come with my A3 when I bought it but I was pleasantly surprised. Even though I still have a 5-disc CD changer and that AUX jack for ipod, the SD slots and music from them is WAY WAY WAY more legit + easy. My 2GB card worked just fine.

No if only someone would make an iTunes syncing app for SD cards (or arbitrary volumes) ahhahahha.
