My Viper Induction Kit...
Iv just fitted my pipercross viper induction kit and i am wondering something?
On the standard air box there are2 seperate connectors connecting to what seems to be asensor which isattached to the upper lid of the air box towards the back. The fitting instructions say i need to remove this and bolt it to the chassy of the car (fittings included) however, this seems to be an open sensor which was on the inside of the box, but now is just sitting open in the engie bay???
Does anyone know what this sensor is, and how this will effect the performance?
I know its a performance filter, but seems odd removing an inclosedsensor from inside the standard air bax, and letting it sense nothing but the open engine bay?
please help my heard hurts!!!

RE: My Viper Induction Kit...
Yes i think it might be the ICM!
Its and oval shapped gadget about 1.5 inch wide and 2.5inch long it has a rubber seal round it, and a sensor pluged into each side, one with 4 prongs the other with 5, the cable for these sensors connect to a ther sensor which i think is the MAF (on the pipe where the air enters)
